The Golden Isles of Georgia, named so for the natural beauty of the golden brown color of the marsh grass, is rich with history dating back over 4500 years. Spanish explorers came to the area over 400 years ago looking for gold but found the golden islands instead. There is something historical everywhere you turn.

While it’s true that we live surrounded by natural beauty and rich history, my goal with The Faces project is to highlight the people that make Brunswick, Jekyll Island, St Simons Island, and Sea Island the exceptional places that they are.
